Tofurky is seeking a Marketing Director to join our team.
This curious and creative marketing professional is responsible for taking our iconic brand, Tofurky, and emerging brand, Moocho, to the next level in their omnichannel market approaches.
Reporting to the SVP, Strategic Growth, you will be responsible for developing an annual marketing plan and budget that ties closely to brand strategy, sales strategy, and New Product Development (NPD) programming.
Execution of your marketing initiatives will be driven by the voice of our consumers and further enhance our lifestyle brands, promote our products, and drive revenue growth.
Working Location:
This is a hybrid role with three days working at our campus in Hood River, Oregon.

What you'll do:
This role will have P&L responsibility and will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Partnering with NPD, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D, and Sales, you will effectively commercialize and execute our go-to-market planning.
You will lead a talented marketing and customer service team of 4
members, contractors, and agency partners.
As a strong people leader, you will attract, manage, and mentor employees to ensure talent retention, development, and superior performance.
Responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership Ensure clear, consistent marketing messages about products, brand, and value propositions to each market segment, increasing awareness, relevance, and sales among target audiences.
Collaborate with other leadership members to design, maintain, and champion the company's mission, vision, strategy, and culture.
Translate them into employer-brand-led projects that support people operations initiatives.
Lead marketing contracts and agency relationships, cascading the brand and marketing plan to satellite teams Grow brand equity and share of voice by elevating values-based topics through platform channels.
Develop 360 trade support/go-to-market/loyalty strategies that generate demand and drive velocity in priority channels.
Create growth KPIs and communicate indicators for brand health to executive leadership on a regular cadence.
Brand Stewardship Bring big, break-through ideas to market and grow share of voice and brand equity Own comprehensive marketing functions for B2B (food service), B2C (retail) domestic and international channels with a primary focus on:
Brand campaigns:
leveraging origin stories, category trends, and seasonal timeframes for relevance to the Voice of the Consumer Product launch campaigns:
tracking and elevating product lifecycle consumer interactions Digital Marketing:
website, email, social, and eCommerce Public Relations Trade events:
brand dress, ambassador apparel, etc.
Market Research:
Using syndicated data and proprietary insights to drive communication and outreach goals Packaging:
Prototype and final deliverable for core and novel product formats (FDA/CFIA compliance, brand standards, synchronicity with production equipment) Collateral:
Sell Sheets, Sales Sample Kits (Photoshoots, copywriting, illustration) In collaboration with the People Team, support Employer Brand activations:
employee events, recruiting, and employer branding.
Oversees syndication of assets through digital publishing tools Manages customer service and sales support programs for domestic businesses.
Evaluate and sponsor the customer service function that triages general B2C/B2B inquiries and social media community management.
Evaluate and sponsor the sales support service that supplies product samples and trade assets to brokers, buyers, and prospective food service clients.
Drive a deep understanding of category performance, challenger brands, and novel performers to maintain merchandising and digital market positioning.
Generate and prioritize relationships with the NPD program to support product launches from concept through commercialization.
What skills and education you'll need:
Experience in Plant-Based/Natural Foods Industry or Non-durable Consumer Packaged Goods 10
years of brand management experience within the CPG industry Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage challenges involving several concrete variables Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with proven ability to communicate with diverse employees across levels of the organization.
Comfort with ambiguity Passion for the Voice of Consumer Deep understanding of changing market dynamics Entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional storytelling capabilities Demonstrated computer proficiency, including experience using MS Office applications, CPG-related SaaS platforms, and SaaS marketing tools (e.
g.
, Basecamp, Mailchimp, Airtable, ZenDesk, Wordpress, etc.
) Ability to deal with challenges involving several concrete variables A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus.

Compensation for this role is approximately $150,000, DOE.
