About the Role:
As Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of nursing operations. You will be responsible for:
- Leading and motivating a team of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants.
- Ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care that meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures that adhere to state and federal regulations.
- Overseeing the nursing department budget and staffing.
- Participating in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless continuum of care.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing or a Bachelor's degree in Nursing with extensive leadership experience.
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Oregon.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Proven track record of success in improving patient care outcomes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in healthcare information systems.
